What software do I need on my Server
Caplum runs on Windows 2000/2003 server with SQL server 2000 or
better (we recommend 2005). The server also requires .NET framework 2.0 and Web Services
(IIS) to run the Web version of Caplum.
Q.
What software do I need to load on my PC
None for the Caplum web only Internet Explorer
6 or greater.
Q. What network
types does Caplum support
Caplum can support data, voice, fibre and auxiliary services such as
alarms, lift control circuits, BT direct lines. It can support all
known types of cable topologies such as CAT5 structured and Plan1A.
Q. How do I get
Caplum loaded with my data
Caplum has import facilities that enable it to upload data from
spreadsheets or other database. Also Ardlin Systems offer an audit
facility which will allow us to gather new data from your network
and load it into Caplum for you. On Voice networks this can be
performed at 1000 pairs per man per day with our automated data
capture equipment.
