TW19 - Tone Wand
Finding jumper wires in an MDF can be a time consuming task,
especially when the jumper bed is deep and pairs are tight.
Tone Wand 19 makes this task easy with it’s long wand that
allows the user to walk down the MDF sweeping as he goes.
The large wand makes short work of finding the actual block
with the tone on it. Using the more discriminating smaller
wand that will guide you to the correct pair with the aid of
both audio and visual distance indicators.
The systems cuts the time to trace a jumper to just a couple
of minutes even in the most challenging situations and will
pay for it’s self in no time.
The TW19 is datasafe, it can be used safely on active ADSL,
ISDN and voice lines without causing interference.

TONE SENDER

The tone sender is housed in an ergonomic small ABS plastic
case with a carry strap allowing it to be hung on the MDF
block near the pair under test.
It is powered by either 4 x AA batteries or 48VDC through
a jack plug. Battery life is approximately 60 hours constant
use.
TONE RECEIVER
The tone receiver can be either belt, shoulder or forearm
mounted depending on preference, which leaves the other hand
free.
For safety reasons the large probe is non metallic. The
smaller probe has a metallic tip to increase sensitivity
when confirming the pair.
The receiver is powered by 4 x AA batteries with battery
life of approximately 40 hours constant use. The unit has a
low battery indicator.
Both units are microprocessor controlled and designed to
minimise power usage.
The system is supplied in a briefcase style carry case.
